PUBLIC NOTICE · CLEAR SAFETY BOUNDARY

IMPORTANT
WARNING.

9 SEPTEMBER 2026

Massage is not medical diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation. Massage-practitioner training or certification does not confer the title or legal authority of a doctor or physiotherapist, nor authority to provide manual therapy or joint/spinal manipulation for treatment.

  • SCOPE OF A MASSAGE PRACTITIONERA person acting as a massage practitioner cannot, on that title alone, diagnose illness; plan treatment or rehabilitation; or provide manual therapy, chiropractic, osteopathic, or joint-manipulation services.
  • NOT PERFORMED BY BULENTTHERAPYOur massage sessions do not include neck, lower-back, or spinal “cracking”; sudden pulling or twisting; high-velocity spinal manipulation; or manual therapy. We do not claim to treat disease or assist medical treatment.
  • FORCED NECK MOVEMENT IS NOT ROUTINE MASSAGERapid or forceful neck interventions can be associated with vascular, nerve, and spinal injuries, stroke, and other life-threatening outcomes. They must not be presented as an ordinary relaxation technique.
  • SEEK LICENSED HEALTHCARE FIRSTDo not book massage for pain with recent trauma, numbness, weakness, dizziness, loss of balance, speech or visual disturbance, or sudden severe head or neck pain. Seek an authorised healthcare service; call 112 for sudden neurological symptoms.

Even if someone separately holds a licensed healthcare title, healthcare procedures may be provided only within that profession's current legal scope and authorised setting. The title of massage practitioner does not itself create that authority.

A CLEAR BOUNDARY

THE FIELD,
NOT A NAME.

To protect editorial independence and comply with health-promotion rules, this guide does not promote a specific doctor, physiotherapist, or healthcare facility. Commercial relationships cannot influence general information or individual decisions.
