01 / A CLEAR DEFINITION

WHAT SPORTS
MASSAGE IS.

Sports massage is a massage service shaped around training context, preferred pressure, and selected soft-tissue areas. It may be used before or after exercise, with the character and intensity of the session adjusted to its timing and purpose. It is not manual therapy or joint manipulation.

It is not a diagnosis, injury treatment, or return-to-sport clearance. Where symptoms require clinical assessment, the appropriate route is a licensed healthcare professional.

02 / SESSION CONTEXT

BUILT AROUND
YOUR LOAD.

01BEFORE TRAINING

SHORTER. MORE FOCUSED.

A session intended to fit the warm-up context without replacing sport-specific preparation.

02AFTER TRAINING

CALMER. PERSONALISED.

Pressure and focus are adjusted around perceived soreness, comfort, and the next training demand.

03BUSY PERIODS

CLEAR COMMUNICATION.

Match schedules, travel, recovery preferences, and sensitive areas are discussed before the session.

03 / WHAT THE EVIDENCE SAYS

05 / FREQUENTLY ASKED

BEFORE
YOU REQUEST.

01WHEN CAN SPORTS MASSAGE BE USED?+

A sports massage may be planned as a shorter, more stimulating session before training or as a calmer, individually adjusted session afterwards. Timing, pressure, and focus areas are selected around the athlete's goal, current load, and pre-session feedback.

02DOES SPORTS MASSAGE IMPROVE PERFORMANCE?+

Current systematic reviews do not show that sports massage directly improves strength, sprint, or endurance performance. Small improvements in flexibility and perceived post-exercise soreness may occur for some people, so the service is not presented with a performance guarantee.

03CAN I HAVE SPORTS MASSAGE WITH AN INJURY?+

New trauma, severe or worsening pain, marked swelling, or loss of strength or sensation needs assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional first. Massage does not replace diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation and should not delay medical assessment.

04WHAT IS DISCUSSED BEFORE A SESSION?+

Your training or match schedule, goal, pressure preference, sensitive areas, and anything that may affect safety are discussed briefly. Sharp pain is not the aim, and you can give feedback about pressure and comfort throughout the session.

05HOW DO I REQUEST DETAILS IN ISTANBUL OR KOCAELI?+

Choose Sports Massage in the short information form on the home page. Current service area, availability, session scope, and price are then shared with you personally.

SPORTS MASSAGE MUST NOT DELAY MEDICAL ASSESSMENT.

Seek appropriate healthcare for new trauma, severe or radiating pain, marked swelling, fever, chest pain, shortness of breath, or loss of strength or sensation. Call 112 in an emergency.
